We daydream nearly eight hours a day. And then we tell stories to ourselves again at night. We're heavily influenced by songs, books, and movies. Don't believe me? Think about the way you drove your car home from the latest Fast and the Furious movie. A little faster. A little sharper. A little more wide-eyed. See what I mean? With that in mind, stories should be more than play, don't you think? If stories influence so much of who we are, we need to get better at recognizing them. We need to get better at telling them. Then we can leverage the power of story in our lives.
